Borbala Szij is Hungarian, graduated at the Law faculty of the University of Budapest. She moved to Brussels in 2000 where she completed postgraduate European studies and followed courses on development cooperation, then worked several years for the European Union.
In 2010 she moved to New Delhi, India, thanks to her husband's international career, and found a new, creative path: she ended up developing a passion for photography. Besides volunteering with Main Tendue Charity Action in Delhi - a French charity association - she completed advanced studies in photography.
Years have passed and new adventures came into her way: in September 2014 she moved to Ankara, Turkey, with her family, where she continued capturing everyday as well as extraordinary moments of life. In 2018 returned to Brussels, seeking time lost in between.
